The first photo from the set of Quentin Tarantino’s new film, Django Unchained.

This photo features Christoph Waltz looking awesome.

Christoph Waltz was originally cast as the role of Sigmund Freud in A Dangerous Method, but dropped out of the project in favour of Water For Elephants.

Quentin Tarantino has cast his actor for Django in his upcoming film Django Unchained. The man has selected Jamie Foxx for the lead role. 

Django Unchained will start shooting soon, and Tarantino is shooting for a release date of December 25, 2012. The film will follow Django (Foxx), a freed southern slave who teams with a German bounty hunter (Waltz) as they hunt down Calvin Candie (DiCaprio), an evil plantation owner to free Django’s wife.

Christoph Waltz attatched. Its going to be called “Django Unchained” and is going to be a spaghetti western set in the time of slavery. I’m personally excited.
