20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub – The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

and lastly, Ant-Man has no release date yet, but we do know it is being directed by Edgar Wright!

So, if Peter doesn’t show up for The Avengers 2, he should definitely be in Avengers 3. Joss just revealed he wants more of a balance of men to women in the next movie, and Edgar Wright is currently working on his own version of Ant-Man and has been for a while. He recently tweeted an image that makes me think he’s finally moving forward with it.

So if he moves forward with his Ant-Man movie, it could not only introduce Ant-Man, but also The Wasp, giving an extra female. Consequently, however, that would either have to make a larger crew of the Avengers, or cut someone out.

I know Thor had a hard time getting back to earth this time, so maybe he would be left out? I mean, unless they fix the whole gap problem in Thor 2. I wouldn’t like it, but it’s possible. Bruce could possibly not show up, but I don’t know why he wouldn’t. Those are the only 2 I think it would make sense to have left out of The Avengers 2.
