NBC’s reboot of The Munsters, titled Mockingbird Lane, will be be written by Bryan Fuller (of Pushing Daisies fame) and has finally had its first person cast in the show!

The role of Grandpa Munster has officially been filled by the fabulous man Eddie Izzard!

watching 30 Rock, and one of the other pages that Kenneth had a “thing” with started looking familiar. Then, suddenly, it hit me. It was Charlyne Yi. Apparently the first thing she was in, too. That’s cool.

And Denzel Washington, but who cares about him.

If NBC likes the first script that is handed in, it will go straight to shooting the 13 episodes.  The show is to be penned by the one and only Bryan Fuller!

Fuller is more well known for his work on the TV series Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies.
